Slcaa Highlights Key Participation In The Robert Fir Ordinary Technical Committee And Ministerial Council Meeting In Freetown, Sierra Leone
Freetown, Sierra Leone – The Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority (SLCAA) is pleased to announce the successful participation of the Hon. Minister of Transport and Aviation, Alhaji Fanday Turay, in the ROBERT FIR Ordinary Technical Committee and Ministerial Council Meeting held in Freetown. The meeting brought together aviation leaders and experts from across the region to discuss critical advancements in the aviation sector.
During the event, the Hon. Minister was honored with the prestigious Award of Excellence in recognition of his outstanding leadership and contributions to the development of Sierra Leone’s aviation sector. This accolade highlights the Minister’s dedication to enhancing air transport infrastructure, safety, and regulatory standards in Sierra Leone and the wider region.
The Director-General of SLCAA, Madam Musayeroh Barrie also attended the meeting, where they participated in discussions aimed at fostering greater cooperation and coordination among countries in the region regarding air traffic management, safety protocols, and the development of aviation infrastructure.
